Board of Trustees Overview

The Village President and Board of Trustees are the elected representatives and policy makers for the Village of Hanover Park.  Their function is to formulate policies and ordinances necessary to guide the orderly development and administration of the Village.  The Village Board also serves the residents through a system of public participation, public board meetings, and boards and commissions.

The President and Board of Trustees meet the first and third Thursday of each month.  Click here to see the Calendar in the Community section of our website.  The Village Manager presents agenda items for discussion and approval for implementation before the President and Village Board. The President and Board of Trustees vote on the agenda items.

Municipal elections are held the first Tuesday of April in odd-numbered years.
