Village Manager Overview

The Village Manager is appointed by the President and Board of Trustees and implements the policies set by the President and Board of Trustees and provides day-to-day administrative functions necessary for the professional management of the Village.  The Village Manager evaluates municipal services, prepares the annual budget, responds to citizen inquiries, and acts as a liaison between special interest groups and other governmental units and the elected officials of the Village.

The Village Manager conducts staff meetings with the assistant and department heads.  Projects are discussed and then placed on the agenda for the President and Board of Trustees to review, discuss, and vote on at Village Board meetings.
