• 2003 Chevrolet Suburban Command Vehicle
• Utilized by the Fire Chief and is equipped with command boards, firefighter accountability equipment, radio equipment to communicate on VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radio frequencies, carries a wide array of reference materials as well as pre-plans of commercial occupancies.
• Vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Data Computer.
• Vehicle is designed to serve as the Command Post at major incidents.
• The Fire Chief, Assistant Chief and the on-duty Battalion Chief all utilize similar vehicles enabling the department to handle multiple major incidents.

Assistant Chief 301

• 2006 Chevrolet Suburban Command Vehicle
• Utilized by the Assistant Fire Chief and is equipped with command boards, firefighter accountability equipment, radio equipment to communicate on VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radio frequencies, carries a wide array of reference materials as well as pre-plans of commercial occupancies.
• Vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Data Computer
• Vehicle is designed to serve as the Command Post at major incidents.

Battalion Chief 306

• 2005 GMC Yukon Command Vehicle
• Utilized by the on-duty Battalion Chief and is equipped with command boards, firefighter accountability equipment, radio equipment to communicate on VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radio frequencies, carries a wide array of reference materials as well as pre-plans of commercial occupancies.
• Vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Data Computer
• Vehicle is designed to serve as the Command Post at major incidents.

Staff Vehicle 350

• 1999 Dodge Caravan Command Vehicle
• Reserve Command Vehicle used when one of the primary vehicles is being serviced.
• Equipped with command boards, firefighter accountability equipment, radio equipment to communicate on VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radio frequencies, carries a wide array of reference materials as well as pre-plans of commercial occupancies.
• Vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Data Computer
• Vehicle also carries the department’s fire investigation / evidence collection equipment and is staffed by the on-call investigators when needed.

Engine 362

• 2005 E-One Rescue / Engine 1250 / 750
• This unit is assigned to Fire Station #2 where it functions as a full-service engine company and also carries the department’s heavy rescue and specialty tools as well as being paramedic certified and equipped.

Engine 362 supplies several large diameter handlines and a tower
ladder at this MABAS Box Alarm Structure Fire.

The crew of Engine 362 utilized their vehicle stabilization and extrication tools to remove the driver of the overturned SUV.

Engine 364

• 1988 E-One Engine 1250 / 750
• The unit currently serves as a reserve apparatus used to replace front line engines when they are out for service, but can also be staffed by “call back” firefighters during a major incident or times of high-call volume.
• This engine is also used extensively by the training division.

Engine 365

• 2001 Alexis Engine 1500 / 750
• This unit is assigned to Fire Station # 1 where it functions as a full service engine company as well as being paramedic certified and equipped.

Tower Ladder 371

• 2001 E-One 95’Tower Ladder with a 1500 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank.
• This unit is assigned to Fire Station #1 serving as the Village’s sole truck company.
• It carries a full compliment of ground ladders, overhaul equipment, ventilation equipment, tools for specialized forcible entry, search and rescue tools and tools to control utilities.
• The tower basket is equipped with a pre-piped water way capable of delivering 1000 gallons per minute.
• The basket also is equipped with brackets to allow a Stokes Basket (emergency stretcher) to be attached.
   

Hazardous Materials Trailers

• HazMat Trailer 375 contains Level B entry suits and Decon supplies
• HM 375 contains spill protection & absorbents as well as over-pack containers
• Hanover Park Fire Department is the custodian of MABAS Division 12 Haz Mat Trailer 2.
• The trailer is equipped to provide full Level A response capabilities.
• The Division Haz Mat Team is comprised of personnel from each of the member departments or fire protection districts responding jointly to mitigate hazards. Team members train together monthly and operate under joint standard operating guidelines agreed upon by member agencies.
• Hanover Park is responsible to maintain and respond with this unit to all communities within the division, on interdivisional requests and as part of the MABAS state and national response taskforces.

Medic 381

• 2006 Ford MedTec Ambulance
• The unit, assigned to Fire Station # 1, is equipped to provide advanced life support care and is staffed by a team of Firefighter / Paramedics.
• The ambulance also carries an assortment of fire / rescue equipment including:
  • Turnout Gear
  • Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
  • Equipment to perform outside ventilation
  • Forcible Entry and Overhaul Tools
  • Personal Flotation Devices and Ice Rescue Suits
  • Bioterrorism kits.

Medic 384

• 2003 Ford MedTec Ambulance
• The unit is assigned to Fire Station #1  The unit is equipped to provide advanced life support care and is staffed by a team of Firefighter / Paramedics.
• The ambulance is utilized for Non-911 medical treatment and transport.
• The ambulance also carries an assortment of fire / rescue equipment including:
  • Turnout Gear
  • Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
  • Equipment to perform outside ventilation
  • Forcible Entry and Overhaul Tools

Utility Vehicle 351

• 2012 Ford F-250
• The unit is assigned to the Operations Division at Fire Station 1
• This vehicle is second-response for fire operations, inspections, training and fire station snow plowing.

• 2011 Ford Ranger XLT
• The unit is assigned to the Inspectional Services Division Health Inspector at Fire Station 1
• The Inspectional Services Inspectors inspects all commercial buildings in the Village.
