CPR/First Aid Classes & Payment Options

The department regularly participates in structured programs designed to increase public awareness to the dangers of fire. Station tours, block parties, school talks, and babysitter clinics are some ways in which we partner with the community to decrease death and injury. Read more in the Fire Prevention Bureau page.

Additionally we offer public CPR and first aid training.

The following is the 2013 schedule for Heartsaver CPR, Heartsaver CPR/ACD, Healthcare Provider CPR, and First Aid classes. All classes will begin at 8:00 am at:

Class fees: CPR and First Aid – Resident $30, Non-Resident $50, HCP CPR – Resident and Non-Resident $65.

Please submit your payment as soon as possible. Payments can be made online through Illinois EPAY CPR/First Aid, or submitted (check or money order) by mail, do not send cash. Please make your check payable to the Village of Hanover Park. Payments may also be made to the Fire Department’s secretary at 6850 Barrington Road. All fees must be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled class date.

If you are unable to attend on your scheduled date, it is very important that you contact the Fire Department’s secretary at (630) 823-5800 so that she may cancel or reschedule your registration. In the event the Fire Department needs to cancel the class, you will be notified by telephone.
