New Ambulance

Hanover Park Fire Department has recently taken delivery of a new MEDTEC Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance from Foster Coach Sales and Service in Sterling, Illinois.

The unit cost $179,000 and is an addition to our fleet of ambulances.

The unit is equipped to provide advanced life support care and is staffed by a team of Firefighter / Paramedics.

The ambulance also carries an assortment of fire / rescue equipment including:

• Turnout Gear
• Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
• Equipment to perform building ventilation
• Forcible Entry and Overhaul Tools 
• Bioterrorism kits

The ambulance is designated Medic 382 and will respond from
Fire Station 2.
