Fire Department Announces
Promotions
The Hanover Park Fire Department recently promoted four Firefighters
to new positions.

Kenneth Zaccard, has been promoted to Assistant Chief. Assistant
Chief Zaccard has received numerous commendations and has been
instrumental in the Department receiving more than $500,000 in federal
grant money.
Larry Pikora has been promoted to Battalion Chief. Larry is a
licensed Paramedic, Firefighter III, HazMat Technician, Instructor II,
Fire Investigator and Fire Officer II.
Jim Hitewas sworn in as lieutenant. He is a licensed Paramedic,
Firefighter III, HazMat Operations, Fire Investigator and Instructor I.
New full-time Firefighter Tim Cicerowas hired as a Paid on Call
Firefighter in May 2006. He has an Associates Degree in Fire Science, is
a licensed Paramedic and Firefighter II.
