Hanover Park Dedicates New
Fire Station
The Village of
Hanover Park dedicated its new fire station on Barrington Road in memory
of former Village President Irwin "Irv" Bock on July 22, 2006.
Elected Officials and invited guests attended the dedication event
and welcomed firefighters to their new home.
The fire station is located at 6850 Barrington Road. The 26,374
square foot station contains new administrative offices, a treatment /
triage room, conference room, training room and an expanded apparatus
floor to accommodate additional firefighting and emergency services
equipment and a hose tower. The station also provides sleeping quarters
for up to 12 firefighters.
