Dear Ms. Park:

The Village of Hanover Park celebrates its 50th Anniversary August 14, 2008. Village officials are developing events and publications that recognize this golden anniversary.
The Village sends early notice of these activities, and we are seeking your support and participation.

A 50th Anniversary Committee has been developed to plan and develop events. A special logo highlighting the 1958 to 2008 time period will appear on anniversary publications. The Village wants to involve all components of our community including schools, churches, businesses and homeowner's associations. By involving all facets of the community, the Village embraces the diversity and rich culture which characterizes Hanover Park.

The history of our hometown is important. A major objective of the 50th anniversary is to impart community history to our youth. Village officials are requesting that you help us in this endeavor by submitting any artifacts, stories or tidbits which can be woven into the Hanover Park story. The Village earnestly requests your help and participation in this important process.

As Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Committee, I encourage you to contact me via email, rcraig@hanoverparkillinois.org or telephone (630)372-4201 to share your 50th Anniversary ideas. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
