Records and Reports

The Hanover Park Police Department’s Record Section provides copies of documents such as accident reports or insurance reports to citizens.

If you need a copy of a report, you can come to the Police Department front desk between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm every day of the week. Accident reports are available upon request. All other reports require a Freedom of Information Act Request Form to be submitted. These forms are available at the front desk 24 hours 7 days a week. After the request is reviewed, the requester will be contacted when the report is available. Reports are not released the same day.

The fee structure is as follows for copying of reports:

Accident Reports $5.00
Reports (Per Page) $.25
Duplication of photographs and videotapes costs vary.
