The Village of Hanover Park takes pride in being America’s Global Village, and we are thrilled to act as a community partner with College of DuPage’s Cleve Carne Museum of Art to promote the “Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: the Floating World” exhibit. The Village has partnered with the Schaumburg Township District Library - Hanover Park Branch and the Hanover Park Park District this summer to host events celebrating this exhibit!
Tonight's event, Ride the Wave to Hanover Park, will be held at Village Hall at 5:30PM. Join us to unveil our ukiyo-e style mural created by Naperville artist Rich Lo. This free event will include a traditional Japanese drumming performance and demonstrative lecture with Japanese classical dance. Zen Ramen will be on-site selling food and drinks.
Don't forget to save the date for the Hanover Park Park District's event on July 11th at 6:00PM in the Community Center. This free hands-on workshop is designed for all skill levels, offering step-by-step guidance to transform simple sheets of paper into stunning works of art.
