Google Survey Forms 101

FREE webinar from the SBA, hosted by SCORE

Thursday, July 10 @ 10:00 - 11:00am

Event description

Google Forms is a free survey feedback form that offers business owners a free and easy-to-use format for creating surveys. While it doesn’t have as many fancy visual bells and whistles that other paid survey platforms may have, it can export survey results in a spreadsheet that can be kept online in Google sheets or downloaded in Excel format.

Forms also gives you the ability to do required question fields, multiple choice, checkbox, and dropdown options for questions and short and long form text fields along with other options that make Google forms one of the best options out there for free unlimited surveys and survey responses.

Forms also lets you do conditional, also known as branching surveys, where a yes or no question (for example) leads to different additional questions based on the surveys input.

Effective online surveys are essential for gathering valuable feedback and insights, whether starting a business and doing information gathering and research or in business and wants customer feedback. Poorly designed surveys can lead to low response rates and unreliable data. In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamental principles of creating clear, engaging, and well-structured surveys that produce high-quality results. We will touch on some important tips to help create a survey that works well so the results are actionable and informative.
