HOW DOES INSPECTIONAL SERVICES PROTECT YOU?

The Inspectional Services Division protects public health, safety, and welfare by reviewing plans for code compliance, issuing building permits and inspecting all construction work to ensure compliance with current building codes.  The division also performs periodic health, property maintenance, and premise inspections at all non-residential properties. Finally, the division ensures a safe and sanitary environment for food service and sales by coordinating with county health departments and consultants to perform routine food service inspections.
