The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) has issued a Notice of Intent to issue a Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination (PEID) to the Village of Hanover Park. The Village has applied to the IEPA Public Water Supply Loan Program to request funding to help finance the five years worth of water main improvement projects. The projects will replace approximately 10,000 LF of water main annually for the next five years.
A Project Summary and PEID document provided by the IEPA is available for review at Hanover Park Village Hall at 2121 West Lake Street, Hanover Park, IL 60133. The PEID document contains the Project locations, descriptions, costs, environmental impacts, and other information. A Public Hearing has been scheduled at the Village Hall on March 15, 2023, at 5:30 pm to present the proposed Project and PEID.
This Notice provides notification of access to the document and scheduled Public Hearing to satisfy Section 662.330 of the Illinois Procedures for Issuing Loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program. These documents will be on file at Village Hall prior to the Public Hearing and for 10 days after the hearing date to allow for public comment on the proposed Project. Public comments will be accepted until 5:00 PM on March 25, 2023, in writing to either:
