With few exceptions, Illinois will soon require ALL employers to provide paid time off to workers. Effective January 1, 2024, the Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLFAW) will require Illinois employers, regardless of size, to offer 40 hours of paid leave to every employee – full and part time – for any reason.
Join us for this conversation about actual proactive, creative and positive steps towards updating existing paid leave policies in order to diminish the negative effects of the new mandates and help employers address the new mandates in the most efficient way possible.

Key mandates include:
· Posting requirements
· Record keeping mandates
· Carryover allowances
