Hanover Park Police Department Issues Several Citations
During Holiday Enforcement Campaign

Hanover Park, Illinois- The Hanover Park Police Department today announced it issued thirty traffic citations during the winter holiday enforcement campaign.
The citations included 19 seat belt violations, 4 child restraint violations, 2 speeding violations, 5 other violations, 1 suspended driver arrest, 1 drug arrest and 1 warrant arrest.
The Hanover Park Police Department partnered with the Illinois Department of Transportation and law enforcement throughout the state for the enforcement campaign. From Dec. 18 to Jan. 4, the Hanover Park Police Department ramped up its usual enforcement efforts, adding several additional patrol units enforcing traffic and safety violations.
The Illinois Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is administered by IDOT with federal highway safety funds.
