Market at the Metra

This annual event is free and open to the public on Saturday, May 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hanover Park Metra Station. Hanover Park residents and neighbors will gather to sell their old treasures, handmade crafts, and new merchandise.

In previous years, the vendors have included crafters of handmade jewelry, soaps, stationary, but also new and used items. It has been a great alternative to having a garage sale for families wanting to give a new home to their used toys, clothes, and miscellaneous household items. The antique and vintage item vendors also offer a variety of collectibles, costume jewelry and old barn finds. Many vendors also sell new goods such as household supplies, school supplies, socks, ties, and toys.

Monday Cruise Night

Cruise Night is back in Hanover Park on Monday nights in the Caputo's Parking lot at Lake Street and Greenbrook Boulevard from 5pm to 9pm on May 2 through September 26 (weather permitting).

Send a Letter To Your Federal Elected Officials Opposing the CPKC Railroad Merger

The proposed merger of the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads will negatively impact Hanover Park. Take a moment to express your opposition and send a letter to your federal elected officials. Personal stories are welcomed & encouraged.
