water main construction

2022 Infrastructure Improvement Project Update

Water services connection for each residence is progressing on Northway Drive (North of the creek) and Beverly Circle and expected to be completed by the end of next week. Water main shut off will happen in the vicinity of the construction area as the new water main is connected to the existing water main.

Concrete work is completed north of Lake Street. Street patching is underway on these streets and will be followed by paving operations next week.

With any construction project, residents on the affected streets may notice colored flags in the parkway along their street and paint marks along the curb and sidewalk.  We ask residents to leave the flags in place during construction as these mark underground utilities for the contractor.

For the duration of the project, residents will retain access to their street and driveway though minor delays may occur.  If you have any questions regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information.

2022 Resurfacing Project Update

Milling is completed for the project. Paving operations continue applying prime, binder and final surface. North side of Lake Street will be completed by this weekend. No street parking is allowed from 7 am to 5 pm to be able to complete the work in a timely manner (signs are posted).

Parkway restoration, which includes new topsoil, grass seed, fertilizer, and erosion control blanket has been completed. Rain will handle a lot of the watering, but the new grass can be sensitive in its first year of growth. Please help by watering the grass seed and helping it grow into a beautiful yard.

The public will have access to the streets during construction; however, minor delays may occur. If you have any questions or concerns regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information.

A map of Village streets being improved  during the 2022 construction season can be found on our website.
