Village's New Online Payment System Now Live

The Village's new online bill pay service will be available to residents and businesses. InvoiceCloud allows users to view and pay their utility bills online, as well as pay licenses, permits, and other invoices.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Go to www.hpil.org and click “Pay Online”
  2. Choose the payment you want to make (Utility, License, Permit, Invoice, Etc.)
  3. Follow the easy-to-use payment screen to pay your bill!

No account creation is needed for this service. Residents can receive email notifications when their utility bill is available, as well as due date reminders. InvoiceCloud provides expanded payment options, including Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal. Residents may also pay-by-phone or pay-by-text through this service. The drop box and paying in person will also remain options for residents.

Already signed up for AutoPay? No need to worry! If you are already enrolled in AutoPay, your payments will continue without interruption.

Construction Updates

Visit our website at www.hpil.org/Construction for a list of locations and projects. We appreciate your patience during the construction season.

2024 Project Updates:

Hanover Highlands Watermain Replacement Project Update: This week, the contractor removed all the asphalt pavement and began placing the first layer of asphalt. They also completed parkway restoration. Weather permitting, the contractor will place the final layer of asphalt next week. Once finished, the project will be considered substantially completed and only minor punchlist items will remain.

IDOT Project at Lake Street and Gary Avenue Update: IDOT’s contractor has completed the paving operations at Lake Street and Gary Avenue. Work will continue on the signals in this area, but there should not be any delays for motorists.

IDOT Project at Lake Street and IL-390 Update: IDOT’s contractor continues to work on the bridge at Lake Street and IL-390. There are two lanes open going eastbound and only one lane going westbound. Motorists should expect significant delays as work continues in this area. The use of alternate routes is advised.

Should you have any questions about the projects, contact Engineering at 630-823-5700. Visit www.hpil.org/1117/construction-projects to see a map of the project area.

Leaves in a pile

Yard Waste Sticker Not Needed for November’s Leaves

As fall approaches, please remember that leaves cannot be deposited onto the Village streets or parkways.  Leaves can get into the curbline, clog storm drains, and cause flooding.

As a benefit to the residents of Hanover Park, leaf collection in November will not require a yard waste sticker to be collected by Groot Industries.  This is during the month of NOVEMBER ONLY and is for LEAVES ONLY.  You must rake your leaves, put them into a recyclable yard waste bag, and set them at the curb on your normal trash pick-up day.

All yard waste pick-up is offered until November 30, 2024.  After this date, yard waste pick-up will not resume until spring.  If you have any questions, please contact Groot Industries at 866.782.5161 or the Public Works Department at 630.823.5700.
