Water System Update

Water System Repair Update

The repair of the Northwest Suburban Municipal Joint Action Water Agency (NSMJAWA) 90-inch watermain is still underway. NSMJAWA remains on schedule to complete this repair and get their water system back online this weekend.

The Village continues to utilize its backup water supply, which includes interconnects with neighboring communities' water systems and our own back-up wells. The Village remains confident that our backup water supply will continue to meet the water demands of our residents and businesses.

NSMJAWA and each of the seven Member communities share a commitment to ensure that our residents’ water remains accessible, safe and clean. For more information about this repair, visit our website.

Brush PickUp Program

Spring Brush Pick-Up Begins April 7th

The Brush Pickup Program provides free curbside pickup and chipping of branches, which is then reused as mulch. This program is provided twice a year, in April and October. Last year, the program produced 1,765 cubic yards of mulch which was made available to Village residents for free to use around shrubs and flower beds. The 2025 spring brush pick-up will begin on April 7th. Please note that it may take more than one day to pick up all of the brush in a designated area. If your brush has not been picked up on the first day, please be patient.

Brush must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the day of your scheduled collection date to avoid missing your cycle. Visit our website to view the collection schedule.
