Community Visioning Workshop May 13th

The Village is updating our Comprehensive Plan! This plan will act as a roadmap guiding future growth and development within the Village. We want to hear from our residents, property owners, and other stakeholders throughout the community.

2025 Construction Projects

Construction Updates

Construction season is officially here! Check back here weekly for status updates.

Arlington Drive Bridge Replacement Update:  AT&T has begun relocating their utilities off of the bridge. Bridge demolition will begin within a few weeks of AT&T completing its relocation.

Schick Road Resurfacing Update: Crews continued pavement patching and installing the first layer of asphalt this week. Next week, crews will place the final layer of asphalt surface.

2025 Resurfacing Project Update: Crews completed replacing areas of curb and gutter and sidewalk on the resurfacing streets. Most of the yard restoration work was also completed. Milling of the asphalt pavement begins May 9th on Yorkshire and adjacent cul-de-sacs. The milling work will move to Turnberry Drive and Court next week.

2025 Pavement Preventative Maintenance Update: After a few rain delays, the contractor completed our annual pavement preventative maintenance project this week. A rejuvenating agent was applied to the road surface to help extend the life of the pavement.

White Fire Hydrant

2025 Hydrant Sandblasting and Painting Update: The contractor will begin sandblasting and priming hydrants on May 9th. The prime coat is white, so don’t be surprised to see some white fire hydrants! The contractor will follow up within two days with the red paint for the final coat.
