Mental Health Awareness Month Card

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

This month, the Village invites you to engage in activities designed to nurture healthier habits for mental well-being. Our mental health awareness card features activities that emphasize staying active and fostering connections with others.

Ways to enhance mental well-being include taking time to unwind and de-stress, engaging in hobbies, exercising, maintaining a balanced diet, and ensuring you get regular sleep.

Let's make our physical and mental health a priority by remaining active and connected with those around us!

2025 Construction Projects

Construction Updates

Construction season is officially here! Check back here weekly for status updates.

Arlington Drive Bridge Replacement Update: The bridge is now closed for demolition and is expected to stay closed through November 2025. Detour signs are posted, and a map showing the detour routes can be found on the Village’s website.

Schick Road Resurfacing Update: The final layer of asphalt and pavement striping were completed this week. Only punch list work remains, which should be completed in the coming weeks.

2025 Resurfacing Update: The contractor finished placing the first asphalt layer this week. They will begin placing the final asphalt layer on Saturday and are expected to complete it by next week. Also this week, the contractor began the various sidewalk and curb and gutter repairs throughout the Village, which are expected to continue for the next few weeks.

2025 Cracksealing Update: Crews started cracksealing various streets throughout the Village on Thursday and are expected to finish next week. Cracksealing is a moving operation that involves installing a fiber-asphalt material to cracks in the street.

For more information, visit www.schaumburglibrary.org.

On June 24th, join us at 5:30PM in Ontarioville Plaza to unveil our ukiyo-e style mural created by Naperville artist Rich Lo. This free event will include a traditional Japanese drumming performance and demonstrative lecture with Japanese classical dance. Visit www.hpil.org for more information.

Discover the magic of origami with Hanover Park Park District and CHAOS Origami Group on July 11th at 6:00PM in the Community Center.
