Outdoor Dining Season is Almost Here!

Temporary Outdoor Dining is Permitted May 1st - October 31st

The warm weather will be here soon...if your restaurant does not already have a designated outdoor seating area, you may be able to offer outdoor dining from May 1st thru October 31st by applying for a Temporary Outdoor Dining Permit.

Offering outdoor seating during warm weather months can be a valuable move. Here are some benefits of offering outdoor dining:

• More seating for customers which can create more revenue
• Customers enjoying the weather are more likely to stay for a longer period
• Provides a relaxed atmosphere and allows guests to enjoy the outdoors
• Creates positive associations and experiences

If your restaurant would like to expand its food service to the outdoors during May 1 thru October 31, a permit is required. The Village's Outdoor Dining Policy can be found here.

Forge Virtual Studios

High Tech Virtual Production Studio in Hanover Park

Forge Virtual Studios is a new kind of production playground – right here in Hanover Park at 1555 Hunter Road!

Television ads, music videos, movie scenes…you name it, they can create it! The 30,000-square-foot facility has been completely renovated and offers two cutting-edge LED stages. Studio A has an expansive 82’ x 16’ LED wall plus a full LED ceiling that can surround a set with any background imagery desired. It’s ideal for high-end commercials, cinematic narrative scenes, and visual campaigns. Studio B offers a more versatile 25’ x 13’ LED wall that’s great for smaller productions like corporate videos or social media shoots.

This high-tech facility rivals any Hollywood soundstage and Forge’s creative teams can conjure up almost any location or fantasy world on the LED walls – everything from those great sweeping landscapes to futuristic cityscapes with a few simple clicks.

Forge was Co-founded by CEO Drew English and President Connor Rowan. Their mission was to eliminate barriers to creativity by offering a world-class virtual production studio with the best technology in an accessible, collaborative environment.
