A Newsletter for The Business Community The Community and Economic Development Department has initiated this Newsletter called "Business Matters" for our local business community.
The newsletter is electronic only, and includes information from the Village to help your businesses stay connected to Business New, upcoming networking events, grant or funding opportunities, and other issues of interest for growth and development. The newsletter is also posted on-line on the Village website. Has your business won an award? Is there business news you would like to share?

The Village of Hanover Park supports our business community! The Village asks our local businesses to complete this confidential survey which asks your thoughts on operating your business in Hanover Park, your ideas for improvement of the business climate, and your plans for expansion or relocation.
Results are tabulated and presented to the Village Board for use when considering policy related to business climate and regulations. Complete the survey on-line, or email us and we will send you a copy of the survey. Questions may be directed to Shubhra Govind, Director of Community & Economic Development, (630) 823-5781.

The Village of Hanover Park has collaborated with the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) to help. The WBDC has offers satellite office hours at the Village of Hanover Park, at Village Hall, 2121 W Lake St, Hanover Park, EVERY 2nd Tuesday of the month between 10am - 3pm.
Tia Juarez of the WBDC will meet with you, at no cost, to discuss start-up and business expansion. She can help with Business Plans, sales projections, marketing, access to capital, expansion plans, structuring requests for financing, and more. Make 2019 your best year in business yet! Village businesses are fortunate to have access to the Illinois SBDC at Harper College, the Illinois SBDC at College of DuPage, as well as the Women’s Small Business Development Center (who hold office hours at Village Hall). The SBDC business advisors can help you with key business fundamentals including access to capital, marketing, social media, cash flow, and more. On-line classes are also available. Take advantage of the many training courses and free business consulting available. A link to each is found on the “Resources for Business” page on the Village website.

The Village of Hanover Park supports our local Chambers of Commerce. The public is welcome at the Bartlett Area Chamber's Annual Casino Royale, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Moretti's Ristorante - Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Poker, Bingo and more! Tickets are available on the Chamber website.

ALL Hanover Park Businesses are invited to attend the Monday, March 4, 2019 Business After Hours hosted by the Village of Hanover Park CONECT Committee and the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s event will be held in Room 214 of the Village Hall at 2121 Lake Street. Enjoy a New Orleans inspired dinner and network with other local businesses. For details, and/or reservations, contact the Community Development Department at (630) 823-5780, or email us.

The Village of Hanover Park works in partnership with the Women’s Business Development Center in Aurora. The Center serves ALL businesses, regardless of male or female owned.
Hanover Park businesses who have been business for at least two years, have at least two employees, and revenue of at least $75,000 are eligible to apply for acceptance in the Scale Up Aurora Program, an 8-week intensive program designed to give owners of high potential established businesses tools to grow. To receive information electronically from the Village: - Sign up to receive emergency alerts and news that are posted to the Village website- Go to hpil.org and click on the Notify Me icon on the main page of our website. From there sign up to receive a wide variety of information posted to the website. Choose between email notification or text messaging.
