Mayor Craig's State of the Village Address

Hanover Park Mayor Rod Craig invites you to join him on January 30th as he presents his annual “State of the Village Address." Mayor Craig will highlight the growth and development taking place, as well as discuss the Village’s financial health, special initiatives, key Village Board actions and strategic goals.

2019 Business Retention Survey

The Village of Hanover Park supports our business community! The Village asks our local businesses to complete this confidential survey which asks your thoughts on operating your business in Hanover Park, your ideas for improvement of the business climate, and your plans for expansion or relocation.

Results are tabulated and presented to the Village Board for use when considering policy related to business climate and regulations. New Year's Day Holiday Garbage Service Schedule

Garbage Service for the week of New Year's Day will be on Saturday, January 5th.

Christmas Tree Recycling

Christmas trees will be recycled throughout the Village on Saturday, January 5th and Friday, January 11th.

Place your Christmas tree in the parkway and follow these guidelines:
Do not put trees in plastic bags.• Remove the stand and all decorations including lights, garland, tinsel, and metal (such as nails). • Dispose of artificial or natural wreaths in the regular household garbage. • Do not place artificial trees at the curb for recycling. Set your tree out on the above dates. This service will be provided to the homeowners associations not regularly serviced by Groot. If you miss the special collection dates, Groot Industries will collect Christmas trees along with your regular garbage and refuse collection.

The Village of Hanover Park has collaborated with the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) to help. The WBDC has offers satellite office hours at the Village of Hanover Park, at Village Hall, 2121 W Lake St, Hanover Park, EVERY 2nd Tuesday of the month between 10am - 3pm.

Tia Juarez of the WBDC will meet with you, at no cost, to discuss start-up and business expansion. She can help with Business Plans, sales projections, marketing, access to capital, expansion plans, structuring requests for financing, and more. For more information visit WBDC online.
