Hanover Park is Dedicated to a Complete Count for the 2020 Census!

Everyone Counts! The census counts every person living in the U.S. once, only once, and in the right place. 


Remember that completing the census is required and it's a way to participate in our democracy to say "I COUNT!" 

Tomorrow! Touch A Truck Event 


Each year, the Village of Hanover Park sponsors a Touch A Truck event. The Police Department, Fire Department and Public Works Department shine up their vehicles and apparatus so attendees can touch the hoods and sit inside of the cars and trucks that make our community run!


Saturday, June 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hanover Park Metra Station, 1975 W. Lake Street. Your kids will love this family friendly event. FREE!

Community Apiary Open House


Come see the beehives, learn why honey bees are important and see how you can get started keeping honey bees right here in Hanover Park. Beekeepers will be on hand to answer questions about this fun and increasingly vital hobby.


Join us on Sunday, June 2nd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 2500 W. Army Trail Road. Rain date will be June 9th. Should you have any questions, please call 630.823.5706.

Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse Kicks Off "Movies in the Park" on June 7th at East Harbor Park


“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask. Voices by: Nicolas Cage, Hailee Steinfeld, Liev Schrieber Columbia Pictures Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman Rated PG; 2018

The movie starts at dusk with games and activities beginning at 8 p.m. before the movie. East Harbor Park is located at 4001 Woodlake Drive in Hanover Park. On street parking is available around the venue. Food & beverages for sale.

UnWind Midweek With Great Music at Wednesday Night Live! 


The Village of Hanover Park is pleased to announce the Wednesday Night Live! concert series featuring 4 summer concerts at the new Pavilion in the Hanover Park Sports Complex at 1200 Sycamore Avenue. All shows are at 7:00 p.m. 


Bring your lawns chairs, coolers and your favorite snacks to sit back and relax with some great music. The first show is on June 12th at 7:00 p.m. and features Final Say who bring a vibrant, youthful energy and an extensive repertoire of songs that range from the latest Top 40 hits to classics that always bring an audience to their feet. Final Say delivers an impassioned show that makes the audience feel like they’re part of something remarkable.

Sports R Us Parent-Tot Class at the Hanover Park Park District


Enjoy this opportunity to bond and have fun together while learning a variety of sports. The program offers a great opportunity to improve the simple motor skills of catching, throwing, batting, shooting, passing, running and also improve developing hand-eye coordination. A parent or guardian is required to attend with the child.

Saturday Cruise Night Happens Every Saturday Thru September!


Stop by the Hanover Park Metra West Commuter Lot to see some classic, muscle and newer model cars every Saturday Night from 5pm to 9pm. Saturday Cruise Night runs every Saturday from May 4th to September 28th. Music by Jose Ramos.
