Wednesday Night Live! Concert July 24th featuring Lounge Puppets


Join us at the new music Pavilion in the Hanover Park Sports Complex, 1200 Sycamore Avenue, for a performance by Lounge Puppets
from 7pm to 8:30pm. 


The Lounge Puppets have been one of the very few bands that have maintained such a large and loyal following for so long and they show no signs of slowing down. They frequest all of the top clubs and festivals So..if your're into 80's Hairbands and Arena Rock, come see for yourself!

COPS Day Picnic & Movie in the Park- TONIGHT at Community Park


The Hanover Park Police Department hosts a COPS Day Picnic to foster relationships between the PD and the neighborhoods it serves. Join the Hanover Park Police Dept on Friday, July 12th from 5:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m. then stay for the Movie in the Park.


5:00—8:00pm Emergency Vehicle Display, Community Resource Fair, Music By 101.9 FM The MIX, Face Painters, Mascots

5:30—7:30pm FREE Food—hot dogs, chips, snacks, and drinks

7:15pm Raffle Drawing—win a bicycle, TV, Boomers tickets, or other great prizes

7:45pm K9 Demonstration—Officer Wiebe and K9 Echo

8:00—9:00pm Lawn games, dancing and kids activities

Everyone’s favorite superhero family is back in “Incredibles 2” – Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life, but the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging super powers.

Mayor Craig's Play Ball Baseball Game- July 16th


Mayor Craig will host a youth baseball game as part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Play Ball summer initiative which focuses on the fun nature of baseball and encourages an active and healthy lifestyle for kids. Hanover Park is one of fifteen communities statewide participating in the initiative.

Play Ball is about more than simply teaching youth about the proper skills and terminology of baseball and softball. It’s also about stressing the importance of lessons that can be taught in emotional, social and physical development.  Learn more about Play Ball in this article from the Illinois Municipal League where Hanover Park's 2018 event was featured.


Join us to watch the Hanover Park Little League Player participate in the Play Ball Summer game with team coaches from the Village Board, Hanover Park Fire Department and Hanover Park Police Department. Free Hot Dogs, chips and refreshments! Police and Fire vehicles will be on display. Tuesday, July 16th at 5:30 pm Hanover Park Sports Complex 1200 Sycamore, Hanover Park.

Saturday Cruise Night Happens Every Saturday Thru September!


Stop by the Hanover Park Metra West Commuter Lot to see some classic, muscle and newer model cars every Saturday Night from 5pm to 9pm. Saturday Cruise Night runs every Saturday from May 4th to September 28th. Music by Jose Ramos.
