Latino Caucus Foundation and Illinois Latino Caucus: Census Tour


The Latino Caucus and the Latino Caucus Foundation is hosting a Census Tour on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
 
Purpose: To educate and encourage the hard-to-count communities to participate in the 2020 census. You are invited to join the ILLCF at any of the locations below to learn more information about being counted in the 2020 Census.

8:00 am-El Tarasco Coffee- 4358 W 51st St Chicago 
10:00 am- Nellie’s Restaurant 2458 W Division St Chicago 
12:00 pm- La Quinta De Los Reyes 36 E New York St Aurora
1:30 pm- Jorge’s Paletas- 110 S Neltnor Blvd West Chicago 
3:30 pm- Dulce Vida - 2003 Irving Park Rd. Hanover Park
6:00 pm- Mi Tierra en La Villita - 2528 S Kedzie Ave Chicago

The Hanover Park Environmental Committee will be hosting their 11th annual Recycling Event. 

Date: Saturday, September 21st
Time:  9:00 am to 1:00 pm 
Location: Hanover Park Metra Station, 1975 Lake Street, Hanover Park


Stop by and take advantage of this great opportunity. Items accepted or not accepted listed on flyer. There will be NO ELECTRONICS accepted however. 

Corks & Crafts Flyer

Corks & Crafts- September 28th


Wine on down the road for an afternoon of Wine, Craft Beer, Arts & Crafts, Music, Food and More! The event will feature a "Paint and Sip" Tent and Live Music. The location is at the new Hanover Park Sports Complex Pavilion located at 1200 Sycamore Avenue, Hanover Park. 


Admission to the festival is FREE, however wine and craft beer patrons can purchase a pack of tasting tickets. Save $5.00 by purchasing your "Early Bird" tickets before the event and get the discounted price of six tasting tickets for $15.00 (limited quantity available). PURCHASE EARLY BIRD TICKETS HERE.  Tickets purchased at the event are six tasting tickets for $20. All tasting ticket packages purchased will also receive a commemorative wine/beer glass. You must be 21 years of age. 

A "Paint & Sip" class will be held with the first session starting at noon. The price is $15 and sold separately. You must REGISTER for the Paint & Sip Tent. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Register today! 

Many varieties of Arts and Crafts will be on display so stop by and pick up something special. Music by the Strung Out: The Ultimate 70's Experience and The Moods!

Saturday Cruise Night Happens Every Saturday Thru September!


Stop by the Hanover Park Metra West Commuter Lot to see some classic, muscle and newer model cars every Saturday Night from 5pm to 9pm. Saturday Cruise Night runs every Saturday from May 4th to September 28th. Music by Jose Ramos.

September 7th - Arnold-Heath VFW Post 5151, Honoring Veterans
