Equitable Procurement Practices

The Village of Hanover Park is committed to increasing the diversity within our supply chain. Whenever possible, it is our goal to seek pricing or proposals for goods and services from businesses that reflect the diversity of our community. As a step toward that goal, contractors are required fill out the Plan Holders Form when requesting to view bid documents prior to bidding on a contract with the Village. The Plan Holders Form identifies if the contractor is a minority, woman, veteran, LGBTQ+ or Disability owned business. The form will be used as a sourcing tool for future RFP and procurement opportunities. 

In accordance with the Illinois Public Act 102-0265, the Village of Hanover Park  is required to make a good faith effort to collect and publish certain demographic information provided by vendors and subcontractors. The Village of Hanover Park is required to report whether the vendor or subcontractor is a minority, women, or veteran-owned business as defined by Illinois Law. In addition, the Village of Hanover Park is required to disclose if the business is certified as a small business under Small Business Administration standards. The Village of Hanover Park asks each vendor to complete the vendor registration form using this link:  VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM 

Once data has been collected, the Village of Hanover Park will publish the collected information on this page on an annual basis.
