*Northwest corner of Lake & Center proposed daycare - Design Exceptions and Variance request to construct a mixed-use building, primarily a daycare with a small artist studio (both permitted uses in the VC-C Village Center Mixed-Use Core District).
*5208 Arlington Cir Greenbrook Elementary/Keeneyville Early Childhood Center changeable copy signs - Variance/Special Use to replace two existing public building identification signs (at two different buildings) with two electronic changeable copy sign ("message boards"). Electronic changeable copy signs are permitted as a Special Use in the R-2 Single Family Residence District. The schools are requesting a Variance for the location of the Greenbrook Elementary sign due to the hardship created by the unique shape of the lot.
All interested parties may attend the public hearings to learn more about the projects or provide public comment. The Development Commission agenda packet, including project plans, will be available on the Village website, www.hpil.org at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
