Volunteer Opportunity - Become a member of the Hanover Park Fire Department's Fire Corps Rehab Response Team!
The Fire Corps Rehab Response Team is a volunteer team whose sole purpose is to provide on-scene support to firefighters operating at an emergency incident. The team serves the Hanover Park Fire Department as well as our neighboring fire departments and is an active part of the MABAS response system.
The rehab team responds and provides hydration, core body cooling, nourishment, and medical monitoring. Fire Corps members are responsible for maintaining the readiness of their rehab unit. They must make sure that it is ready to respond to all incidents. The rehab unit is equipped with core cooling chairs, misting fans, a canopy for shelter, water, Gatorade, and granola bars.
