The Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board is established pursuant to Chapter 46, Article V of the village code.
Meeting Schedule: This board meets quarterly at the Hanover Park Fire Department at 6850 Barrington Rd.
Purpose: To receive and expend Foreign Tax Funds for the maintenance, use, and benefit of the Fire Department.
Membership: This board consists of seven board members elected by full-time firefighters and serve two-year terms. Designated positions consist of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Trustee.
